(1) Measured Medium Properties

- Gas or Liquid

- Corrosive media: Use stainless steel material. 

- Food and pharmaceutical industries: The diaphragm is used to separate the medium from the pressure gauge, the material of the diaphragm can be chosen from various options, such as tantalum, titanium, or Teflon-lined.

 

(2) Pressure Range

   - Determine the working pressure range (e.g., low-pressure reactors in kPa vs. high-pressure hydraulic systems in MPa). 

   - Recommended range: Select a sensor with a range covering 1/3 to 2/3 of the actual pressure to ensure linearity and safety. 

 

(3) Operating Mode

   - Gauge pressure (relative to atmospheric pressure). 

   - Absolute pressure (referenced to vacuum). 

   - Differential pressure (difference between two points). 

 

(4) Operating Temperature Range

  - Standard models: -40°C to 125°C 

  - High-temperature environments (e.g., metallurgy, engine compartments): Requires sensors rated for 750°C or higher. 

 

(5) Accuracy Class

   - General industrial applications: ±0.5% to ±1% FS (Full Scale). 

   - Precision machine: Requires high-accuracy sensors (±0.1% FS or better). 

 

(6) Output Signal

  - Analog signals (4-20mA / 0-5V): Suitable for long-distance transmission. 

- Digital signals (e.g., RS485): Better noise immunity.
